Actor Lee Byung Hun met a reporter of “@star1” to talk about his experiences in the USA.
He confessed: “On the first day of filming for Red 2, Bruce Willis, Catherine Zeta-Jones, John Malkovich, Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren were all there. Rather than be oppressed by their presence, I just thought I should ask them to take a photograph with me later.”
Lee Byung Hun continued: “[Bruce Willis] especially cared for me a lot. He always shook my hand and bowed his head in greeting. He had heard that Korea is known as the ′Eastern Land of Courtesy,′ so he tried to be courteous to me first. We grew close while talking about movies over bibimbap lunch boxes.”
He also shared his plans for the future: “My final destination isn′t Hollywood. I′m still knocking at every step and only taking my next after pondering what Hollywood could be about. I feel that the language barrier is starting to become a deterrent. Korean films still make me feel more joyous and energetic.”
The movie “Red 2” will hit the theatres in August, while “G.I.Joe 2” will premiere on March 28th.
