Lee Dahee Talks Discusses Acting Career, Reveals Beauty Secrets for ‘Sure’ Magazine!

On August 25th, fashion magazine ‘Sure’ released a stunning pictorial and accompanying interview that showcased actress Lee Dahee!

For this photoshoot, the actress was in black and wearing smokey eye makeup, and showed a variety of poses and facial expressions. With the look and attitude of a professional model, she received many compliments from the ‘Sure’ staff.

When the photoshoot was completed, ‘Sure’ sat down with the actress for the interview. She first started talking about her journey as an actress.

She said, “The drama that helped get my name out was ‘I Hear Your Voice.’ It was the first professional role that I was assigned so I was very nervous. The director suggested that I come out strong during the beginning of the drama but it was really hard. I worked really hard. At times I would cry at home and it got to the point where my mother started to pity me.”

She then continued to explain how she got through the tough times by saying, “I focused on acting alone so that the viewers wouldn’t feel uncomfortable. I told myself, ‘Do not cause any damage to the drama. Even though I have heard that I wasn’t pretty, let’s not hear people say that I’m not good at acting.’ The next drama that I acted in was ‘Secret Love,’ and for this, being the character as the story went on was fun. Not just the acting, but with the costume and make-up, when everything came together, I felt that my character was being created. The role of So Mira in ‘Big Man’ was the first lead role I was assigned and I was able to become close with the seniors, so it was very nice.”

Towards the end of the interview, she was nice enough to share some beauty tips with us! “If you want your skin to look pretty even on TV, you need to be diligent with your basic skin care before you put on your foundation. If you have dead skin cells on your skin, your makeup doesn’t come out that good. When I’m filming, my skin becomes dry fast because of the camera lights, so I spray a facial mist onto a latex puff and carefully pat my skin with it when I adjust my makeup. The moisturizing shine becomes noticeable quickly.”
