Lee Min Ho is known for his generousity and this time he teamed up with his fans for a charity project PMZ.
Lee Min Ho donated over 50,000 US dollars to an NGO called Charity: Water whose main aim is to provide clean, drinkable water to people who don’t have access to it. The money will be used to build a water well in Africa.
PMZ’s representative commented, “In June, Lee Min Ho′s new donation platform, PMZ was born. With much support from the fans, a primary donation was collected,” and continued,“The donations that were given by fans will be used to build a well in Malawi.”
Lee Min Ho decided to create the new donation platform PMZ in order to pay back the love he has been receiving from his fans. Its full name, PROMIZ, was created with the words Promise, Lee Min Ho and Minoz (a name of his fanclub).
The platform plans to organize new donation themes every year. Additionally, with every memeber who signs up on the site, 100 won will be donated to the charity (the ‘10,000 Knock’ project).
Lee Min Ho shared, “PMZ began because I wanted to share the love that I received from everyone. I was always grateful to see that many fans did good deeds in my name, and I want continue communicating with all of you while taking part in good activities.”
