In September, shortly after Lee Tae Sung had finished filming for the drama “I Summon You Gold,” his agency, Glory MK Entertainment, confirmed that the 28-year-old actor had received his enlistment orders. He was expected to report for duty before the end of October.
On November 11, an official from Glory MK Entertainment announced, “Lee Tae Sung started his military service and entered the 32nd division training camp located in Gongju, South Chungcheong Province. He will officially become an active-duty reserve officer after his 5 weeks of training. As he entered the military so suddenly, he was unable to continue with his wedding plans. He will have the ceremony once he gets out.”
In 2012, Lee Tae Sung revealed through his twitter account that he has already registered his marriage with his fiancée. They are currently raising a baby son together. Lee Tae Sung’s duty as a full-time reserve officer involves the actor commuting back and forth from his home to his workplace.
His last work before entering the military service was the MBC drama “Pots of Gold.” During the drama’s opening press conference, Lee Tae Sung shared, “I think I will enter the military when I finish working for this production.”
