It looks like we’ll have a new hip-hop girl-group in the K-Pop world with the announcement of the debut of RUBBER SOUL!
The group was formed under a collaboration between Universal Music Korea, Happy Tribe Entertainment and HC Entertainment. According to the agencies, “This upcoming February 13th, our three agencies will join hands to launch the new girl group Rubber Soul,”.
RUBBER SOUL is formed by three members: Choi Cho, the leader Rara and Kim, who appear in order in the above picture. Their debut single will have the same name of the group and their companies revealed that it will be produced by Mad Soul Child, who have also produced songs for many famous hip-hop artists such as Tablo, Mad Clown and Supreme Team.
The girls have, however, chose an unexpected debut date, since February 13th is a Friday, and Friday The 13th is known as a day of bad luck in some parts of the world. Will their success be affected by the superstition? Let’s hope not!
Stay tuned to Officially Kmusic to find out more about their debut.
