The stars have aligned one by one for Lovelyz and now it is finally here, the ‘Twinkle‘ MV has been released. Not in the Christmas spirit yet? You will be after listening to this!
The eight girls of Lovelyz are here to get us ready for the holidays with their latest latest MV, ‘Twinkle‘. There is an obvious Christmas Carol tune to the song while still keeping with their signature style. We see the girls making holiday decorations while Jisoo is writing a Christmas card for a certain someone. Mijoo takes Jisoo’s card and teases her with it, this makes Jisoo grab a can of powder snow and spray Mijoo along with the rest of the girls, and thus the song begins.
Lovelyz ‘Twinkle’ MV
Along with the flawless vocals of Lovelyz comes the well synchronized dancing. The fast paced yet sweet sounding beat offers itself to great dancing and Lovelyz do just that with their Christmas inspired attire. From the very start when you hear Sujeong’s voice, you can tell this is a song for the holidays. With the upbeat tempo and cheery lyrics ideal for their group, it makes it hard not to ‘Fall In Lovelyz‘.
The outfits Lovelyz showcase are the typical red and white Santa inspired dresses along with blue and white dresses for the outdoor scenes which with the background environment really makes every member stand out. At the end we are treated to the beautiful sight of the gold dresses covered in stars that make all eight members ‘Twinkle‘.
1take and TAK both did great jobs composing and arranging, as it has been a great song to begin the assortment of Christmas themed songs to follow. Relatively unknown singer Arran also did an amazing job writing the lyrics along with 1take and TAK.
