After much wait, Lucky J is back. Featuring Jessi, J-Yo, and J’Kyun, the hip-hop trio is reeling you in about having ‘No Love’.
Having debut back in 2014, the three members went off to concentrate on solo activities before dropping the teaser earlier this month for their new single. The new song is a bit more edgier than their debut single, ‘Can You Hear Me’ which felt more like an R&B song. ‘No Love’ has a strong bass line that perfectly supports the rap lyrics and Jessi’s smooth chorus and the music video is quite simple in conjunction with the song, as it focuses more on the three artists’ vocals.
After their debut in 2014, Lucky J went on hiatus as Jessi focused on her solo career and participating in a series of variety shows like ‘Unpretty Rapstar’. J’Kyun released a series of solo and collaborative tracks working with artists like Monsta X’s JooHeon and Konsoul. In that time, J-Yo stayed out of the limelight until the comeback.
Check out the new track down below!
This track is a great opposite of their first single and is beautifully done. I am super happy Lucky J came back because all three artists have such amazing voices that compliment each other. How do you feel about the new song? Tell us what you loved the most.
