Cube Entertainment‘s new boy group, M4M, ensured fans that the memebers were educated on the issues of drugs and sex during their training days, so fans will not have to worry about future scandals.
During the press conference, held on March 13th, members shared their thoughts on the training days. M4M’s leader, Jimmy, said: “I came to Korea four years ago, when 4minute sunbaenims (seniors) had just made their debut. I was trained not only in vocals and dance, but also in character. Cube thought it was important, so I learned about how to treat drugs and relationships.”
BTOB‘s Lee Min Hyuk and Lim Hyunsik, who were the press conference’s host, confirmed it saying: “Cube believes character to be as important as skill,” and “I remember we were given sex education by Ms. Gu Sung Ae”(Gu Sung Ae is a famous figure in sex education).
M4M’s Bin later shared: “I received dance and vocal lessons every day, and I remember we were evaluated on our skills every Tuesday.”
Cube Entertainment’s representative, Hong Seung Seong, said: “The Cube training system teaches how to carry your responsibility before the public. We care about how fans may imitate a singer′s words, styles and actions once the fanbase becomes larger.”
M4M is a new idol group for which Cube Entertainment collaborated with Chinese company Xing Tian. All members were scouted in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The group’s name stands for “Mystical forMula” and all four members, Jimmy, Vinson, Bin and Alen, have been training in secret for 1,460 days.
