A Malaysian political party jumped on the Gangnam Style bandwagon to prepare for the impending general election!
The initial screening of the parody during the [Malaysia] Democratic Action Party congress held in late 2012 in Penang attracted much interest. On New Year Day, the political party officially released videos of the parody in four languages spoken widely in Malaysia: English, Malay, Chinese and Tamil.
The parody highlights issues faced by Malaysians today, including rampant crime, rising living costs, high profile financial scandals and more.
The videos are produced by Tony Pua, who is the National Publicity Officer of the party. Politicians such as Karpal Singh (prominent lawyer in Malaysia) and Lim Guan Eng (Chief Minister of Penang) also made their appearances.
Have fun watching the videos!
