Prior to MAMAMOO’s February comeback with their first full length album ‘Melting’, the girls have recently released the music video for one of their tracks titled ‘Hometown’.
In the music video, the girls are seen going back to each of their hometowns in Jeonju, Bucheon and Ujangsan. Members Wheein and Hwasa, who have been friends since junior high school, visited Jeonju together, reliving their memories throughout their childhood by revisiting many places in it and doing the things they used to do together. On the other hand, Solar and Moonbyul visited each of their hometowns, Ujangsan and Bucheon, playing together under the perfect dreamy atmosphere.
Watching the the girls in this light, playful, and colourful music video would absolutely make one want to go back to their own hometowns with the nostalgia it brings! It is truly perfect for the holiday season especially for people who are celebrating the Lunar New Year with their families back in their own hometowns, particularly because it is made extra special with the wonderful singing of MAMAMOO and the lovely melody of their new song.
It is truly nice to see the girls show their fun and carefree side like this while listening to their powerful vocals serenade through the dreamy mood of their song ‘Hometown’. It certainly brings a warm feeling to our hearts and makes us definitely want to also cherish the moments. We can see them show their close friendship, skipping around town, walking together under the shade of an umbrella through the rain, feeding each other, playing child games in a park, dressing up in traditional Korean clothing, and many other fun activities. Fans would absolutely love this music video for the one of a kind experience the girls will take you to!
