On February 14th, Moonbyul released the MV for ‘Eclipse’, her title track off her 1st solo mini album, ‘Dark Side of the Moon’. Check it out below!
MOONBYUL ‘ECLIPSE’ MV:
The song’s lyrics depict the singer becoming the light to help another person overcome the darkness. Sound wise, it has a strong beat reminiscent of many boy group releases recently. This is complemented with the lower and raspier tone of Moonbyul. The MV itself features many dark settings. It shows the singer primarily in two looks, one of that being the light, in a white outfit; and in contrast one in black clothes and dark makeup, representing someone in the darkness. Towards the end of the MV, we get a charismatic dance break showcasing her dance skills. The visual is elevated with the featuring of multiple backup dancers.
