MBC Cancels Variety Talk Show “Knee Drop Guru”

MBC has announced that they will be closing down the variety show “Knee Drop Guru.”

On August 1st, viewers were starting to wonder if “Knee Drop Guru” was being cancelled after the pilot episode of a new program called “Story Show Widow’s Cruise” appeared on air rather than the “Knee Drop Guru.”

The variety show started way back in January 2007, bringing top stars to share their stories but went on hiatus when Kang Ho Dong took some time away from the industry in 2011. However, even when the show came back, it was plagued with low ratings.

After the August 22nd broadcast of “Knee Drop Guru,” it will be taken over by “Story Show Widow’s Cruise.”
