Min Hyo Rin was recently asked in an interview about BIGBANG‘s Taeyang‘s thoughts in regards to the project girl group that she is recently became part of. The actress/model/singer is presently a cast member in KBS2‘s “Sister’s Slam Dunk.”
Min Hyo Rin says, “He [Taeyang] really liked it and candidly congratulated me. I think he also felt good because he knew that I was able to do what I wanted and the response was great.” When she was asked about what his response was to seeing Unnies on stage, she said, “He said, ‘Good job and congratulations.’ On any occasion when I had a difficult time while practicing, he would inspire and cheer me on; he also monitored with me.”
“Sister’s Slam Dunk” is focused on making the cast members’ individual dreams come true using a budget of 2,196,000 won or approximately $2000. Min Hyo Rin‘s dream was to debut in a girl group, so the project group ‘Unnies‘ was created. ‘Unnies’ have dropped their track “Shut Up” (featuring Yoo Hee Yeol), filmed a music video, and also debuted on a music show!

“Sister’s Slam Dunk” airs every Friday on KBS 2TV starting from April 8th, 2016. The show features an all female cast consisting of Ra Mi Ran, Kim Sook, Hong Jin Kyung, Min Hyo Rin, Tiffany (of Girls’ Generation), and Jessi (of Lucky J).
