In 2011, it was announced that Girl’s Day member Minah had been cast as the female lead in the film, “Holly“.
Exited fans congratulated her, leaving comments such as, “Congratulations Minah on your first lead role in a movie,” “I am so looking forward to this film,” and “A popular singer and now an actress as well.”
The movie is ballet themed, Minah’s character is a high school ballet student who strives to fufill her dreams, despite hardships. Other cast members include Jung Ae Yeon and Shin E.
Recently, she and the other members of Girl’s Day made their comeback this March with their new song, “Expectation“.
