Cassiopeias who live in the greater Toronto area of Canada have something delightful to look forward to!
On December 7th, a new cafe opened in Markham, and goes by the name of ‘Mirotic’. Yes, the cafe is named after one of TVXQ’s most popular songs released back in 2008!
The word ‘Mirotic’ itself, was coined by former member Kim Jaejoong, and comes from the Korean word 미로 (miro), meaning “maze”, and the English suffix -tic, and it means “to be lost, as if in a maze” or “maze-like”.
The owners say that name is no coincidence! The cafe offers delicacies such as macaroons, waffles, cake, tea, coffee all the while playing K-POP music in the background.
The owners of Mirotic also personally stated, “Yes, the name came from TVXQ ‘s song directly! The store owner is Asian and loves the group too. We love kpop and all varity artists! The definition of the word ” Mirotic ” is very interesting. Feeling being wrapped in a love without a way out! Love the word and love the meaning too!”
Check out some of the photos from the cafe’s official Facebook page!
