On February 18th MONSTA X released the music video for their new title track ‘Alligator‘! ‘Alligator‘ is the title of their new album ‘Take.2 ‘We Are Here’‘. Check out the music video below!
MONSTA X’s new title song ‘Alligator’
The music video starts with an ominous vibe. The symbols in the previously released teasers can be found throughout the music video. Wonho starts the song off with a red apple in his hand as he looks fierce. Shonwu then takes over; he is seen lighting a match which leads to him burning a building. Hyungwon is seen sitting inside what looks like a cage while Minhyuk is surrounded by roses and their thorns. Kihyun takes over in the catchy chorus before the iconic rap line appears. Joohoney, as usual, stuns with his amazing flow and I.M with his attractive voice.
Various symbols appear in the music video as mentioned. Some include roses and thorns, clocks and of course an alligator. The members express ‘being pulled’ through their dance. There is also a scene where they dance in a shallow puddle of water increasing their sexiness.
The alligator in this song seems to symbolise a love that is as strong as an alligator’s grip. The boys sing about them falling deep and not being able to get out.
