Minhyuk from Monsta X has just uploaded his cover of WeAreYoung‘s ‘That’s Alright‘.
This is his first solo cover ever. The other members of Monsta X like Jooheon and Shownu have previously released covers. WeAreYoung are a duo that debuted just last year. They mainly specialise with ballads.
The main vocalist has recently been active with Monsta X as they have just made their Japanese comeback. On August 1st, they released the MV for their fourth single ‘Livin It Up‘. It is slated to come out on September 12th.

Fans usually see Minhyuk‘s more energetic side as the vocalist of Monsta X. The group is most notable for pulling off the cool concept really well. However, with this cover, fans can see his more sentimental side. His soft and gentle yet powerful voice really suits this ballad. The piano instrumentals are calm and relaxing. Furthermore, the whole video is in black-and-white, which fits with the atmosphere created by the ballad.
