The second installment in “Morgan’s Choice” is who my favorite summer comeback was from the male side of the spectrum. Well, as you know, I am an Inspirit and Infinite‘s comeback was incredible, but since I will be talking about them in another article *hint hint*, I chose to give this group some love instead.
They are another one of my all-time favorite groups, and more or less, what I like to call, my bias wrecker group. It’s none other than GOT7!
I told myself I would not like any more groups, but then early last year, these 7 guys came along and ruined my life, in the best way possible of course.
First off, I want to recommend their latest song “Just Right“, because it wouldn’t be appropriate to talk about summer comebacks without showing you the reason why they’re on this list in the first place, right?
I’m going to recommend 5 of their songs from debut till now. I want to limit myself to only 5 because if I don’t, I’ll tell you just to listen to all of their songs, which you can if you would like to, but I will only suggest 5 of the ones that are my personal favorites.
So I’m going to be honest, I didn’t like “Just Right” the first time I heard it. I did enjoy the rap parts, but the rest of the song annoyed me. But now, I admit that it has grown considerably on me and not only does the song have an encouraging message, the music video is pretty darn cute too.
From their debut album “Got It?” I highly recommend you listen to the 5th track “Like Oh“. It’s one of my all-time favorite GOT7 songs. It has a good beat and the vocals are amazing!
Another non-title track you should listen to is from their second mini album “GOT LOVE” called “Bad Behavior” which they performed live at their “Around The World” Japanese tour.
From their full album “Identify“, I suggest you listen to “Magnetic” because not only is it a great song, the dance practice will make you question why you chose a certain member as your bias, or at least that’s what it did to me. *sighs* For those of you who have a GOT7 bias, please tell me your secret because I cannot choose!
The last song was hard for me to choose, because there were so many others that I wanted to recommend, but this one beat the rest out. It’s “Good Tonight“, another song from “GOT LOVE”. Below is a performance from the showcase they held when their album was released so the song was cut short but when you have time, please listen to the full version.
I didn’t recommend any from their current album because I haven’t heard it yet so which songs from their new album would you as the reader suggest that I listen to?
