Experts from the K-POP music industry releases a ‘2013 Girl Group Ranking‘.
As you can see from the picture posted above, Girls’ Generation and 2NE1 are tied on the category called “insurmountable 4D wall (on another level)”. Sistar went up to the ‘national’ level after gaining attention with their music last 2012 and KARA maintained their spot.
T-ARA and Wonder Girls join miss A and Brown Eyed Girls after moving down to the third level ‘High Class’. This was due to T-ARA’s controversy last 2012 where Hwayoung decided to leave the group and Wonder Girls’ Sun marriage and the solo activities of the members. While f(x) maintained their spot between the second and third tiers.
Girl’s Day moved up and was added to the ‘Mania Level’ along with SECRET, After School, and 4minute. The ‘rising popularity’ level was conquered by A Pink, Rainbow, Dal Shabet who remained at the same level, together with Nine Muses. SPICA, Hello Venus, Ladies’ Code, and AOA was put in ‘candidates’ level.
