It’s the DJ collaboration of a lifetime, where Steve Wu along with international DJ duo DOOS create a Deep House track called “Black Shoes,” with rapper Lim Chan adding the finishing touch!
Deep house is a genre of electronic music in Korea, which has previously not seen much light in mainstream music but has a large underground following. It has usually been featured playing in nightclubs and lounges, particularly in the Itaewon region. Steve Wu is the producer and owner of Eastribal records, while DOOS is known on several international labels. Lim Chan is best known for her “Bad Girl’s Anthem,” and her unique voice stands out among the heavy bass lines. The title is very literal, as the song is all about black shoes in every shape, style, and form. It is sassy and flirty, with the infectious house beat that’s bound to get stuck in your head!
