FNC Entertainment’s rookie boy band, N.Flying, has crossed over the waters to Japan for their first ever single album titled ‘Knock Knock’. FNC is known for having success in both Korea and, especially, Japan, when it comes to their artists as CNBLUE and FT Island have debuted in both countries and remain strong in their fandoms.
On February 10, ‘Knock Knock’ was released and immediately placed eighth on the Oricon Singles Daily Chart, number one at Japan’s biggest record store, Tower Record in Shibuya, and third overall for all the Tower Record stores.
Holding a showcase on February 11, N.Flying received a terrific display of affection from N.FIAs for their Japanese debut. Big name media outlets like Sankei Sports, along with Kstyle, a K-pop star portal website which is hosted by the biggest Japanese mobile messenger LINE, and others showed up to cover the event and the group’s stories.
This isn’t N.Flying’s first time performing music in Japan but it is their official debut. ‘Knock Knock’ has three tracks including ‘Awesome’ and ‘All In’ which was written by N.Flying’s bassist, KwangJin. The album’s jacket image was created by globally renowned photographer, Laeslie Kee.
N.Flying debuted January of last year in Korea with ‘기가 막혀 (Awesome)’’ from their first mini album, ‘Awesome’, and came back in October with their first single album ‘Lonely’. Now they will continue to tour around Japan in celebration of their newest debut.
I am really excited that N.Flying had a successful debut! Their style of music is very different than others in their field. Are you a N.FIA? Let us know how you feel about their debut!
