Following their comeback schedule for ‘Superhuman‘, NCT 127 released the ‘NEO CITY‘ film version of ‘Highway to Heaven‘ on May 14th. Check it out below!
‘NEO CITY’ film version of ‘Highway to Heaven’:
‘Highway to Heaven‘ is presumably one of the tracks on their upcoming fourth mini album. It is a sentimental song with a steady beat which showcases the group’s heavenly vocals. During the chorus, the song becomes more upbeat. Each member has his time to shine in the video. Taeyong and Mark also display their melodic rapping styles which enhances the sentimental mood of the song. Haechan‘s high note during the bridge is extremely pleasing to our ears.
Matching the mood of the song, the video is shot in black and white. It mostly shows shots from the road, coming from their current road trip around America. The members are all shown individually. Their visuals are stunning and they are dressed stylishly.
NCT 127 is set to make their comeback on May 24th with a six-track mini album titled ‘Superhuman‘. They previously performed their first stage of the song on ‘Good Morning America‘ in New York City on April 18th. It was essentially a mash-up with one of their biggest hits ‘Cherry Bomb‘.
NCT 127 is currently on their first world tour ‘Neo City – The Origin‘ in the U.S. Winwin is not participating in this comeback because he is actively promoting with the Chinese subunit WayV. Likewise, he will not promote for ‘Superhuman‘.
The group are set to release image teasers soon. Stay tuned!
