MONSTA X is coming to Australia! The boy group will be visiting both Sydney and Melbourne in early June.

In that meaning we will be going through a few of the MONSTA X members’ legendary moments! This will give you a good idea of what each member is like before they arrive in Australia.

Let’s get to know the members!

Shownu

Shownu is the leader of this talented group! At first Monbebes thought he was quite stoic but after spending some time with the group, Shownu started showing more of his natural side making fans fall even more in love with him. When someone says Shownu many fans will think of words like considerate, responsible, sexy and dance. Let’s watch a stunning performance that Shownu delivered on the dancing show ‘Hit The Stage‘!

That is why Shownu is the main dancer of the group! His stage presence is no joke and although he makes the moves look simple, his prowess and charisma carries so much more.

Whilst some may be more familiar with the charismatic Shownu that he obviously is, many fans love him for the more goofy and loving person he is. Not long ago, the MONSTA X leader filmed ‘My Little Television‘ with Haeun who is known for her amazing dancing and cute charms. Shownu showed off his caring and goofy side as he danced with Haeun!

Wonho

Many fans and non-fans who hear of Wonho think of muscles and that definitely isn’t something wrong! Wonho has expressed his love for exercising many times and tries to work out as frequently as he can. The member has showed off his toned body several times during performances giving fans something more to swoon over.

In this performance which also shows Shownu‘s toned body, Wonho shows off his body which he got from his hard work. Many idols have shown their respect for his body which only proves how dedicated he is. Whilst many do think of his impressive muscles first, Wonho has a huge heart and especially has a soft spot for his family, members and Monbebes.

In this video, Wonho talked about his song in his recording studio alone. He shared his honest feelings with fans and eventually burst into tears as he talked about the gratitude he feels for fans. Wonho really appreciates his fans and has a soft heart!

Minhyuk

Minhyuk is definitely an all-rounder. He can sing, is handsome, has amazing talking skills, can model and do much more! Many know him to be the sun as he is so bright and energetic making him the source of energy for many fans. Whilst Minhyuk is a vocal many fans feel that it’s a shame that they don’t get to hear his voice a lot.

Minhyuk gifted this beautiful cover to fans! He has a slightly husky and deeper voice when he sings and he uses it to his advantage in this emotional cover. Many fans who were used to his happy vibes were shown another more serious side of the MONSTA X member through this cover.

Minyhuk & Kihyun

Definitely a legend in the Monbebe fandom, this video of the 93 liners parodying ‘PPAP‘ shows their cute and goofy sides. The two who seem to always be bickering but also always care for each other, give fans a laugh as they wear their adorable onesies and dance!

Kihyun & Joohoney

Just like the video above, many fans know Kihyun for his cute, hamster-like charms! As the main vocal, Kihyun always adds his own uniqueness to every MONSTA X song. While he may look cute he is known to be quite savage too! The boy has many charms and even went through a period where he wanted to be known as a tough shark instead of an adorable hamster!

Kihyun shows off his sexy side here as sings! He definitely showed off his sexy and dangerous charms here. Joohoney who everyone knows is a charismatic rapper also sings very well! The MONSTA X member has proved it several times that his voice when rapping and singing is top tier.

Joohoney

Again, Joohoney is really an all-rounder! Many fans praise his stage presence as he always looks strong and charismatic as he performs. While even he himself has said that many misunderstand that he is chic, the boy has a very kind heart and is also very soft at heart. Joohoney recently proved both this and his expertise on the survival show ‘Produce X 101‘. He looked gorgeous and although he looked somewhat chic and cold, his kind smile melted everyone.

Hyungwon

Even if you don’t know Hyungwon, you know Hyungwon. The member is known widely for his funny expressions that he makes. While Hyungwon may look chic and cool like the model he is, he makes his members and fans laugh with few words and actions. Just like in the interview below (at around the 18:00 minute mark) his witty remarks always makes fans laugh!

Hyungwon is also an amazing dancer! Check out his cover of ‘How Long’ below!

His fluid moves look even cooler with his long legs and arms. While Hyungwon may not show lots of powerful moves, he has his own charms that makes his dancing so special!

I.M

I.M is the youngest of the group and like Joohoney he is a rapper. Whilst many may know the somewhat unfortunate way the youngest was added into their pre-debut survival show ‘No Mercy‘, perhaps that is why he is depicted as a more quiet member. Although seemingly as a joke he has also said that he enjoys being alone. I.M has a very deep voice which he uses well in his raps! His latest release with ELHAE shows his unique style of music.

Aside from his darker music taste the youngest member is doted on by members and fans who think he is adorable! He may also be the goofiest member in the group, though of course that is debatable.
