On the December 24th broadcast of MBC’s ‘Come to Play,’ Super Junior’s Yesung came to the show as a guest and brought so much laughter on set with his embarrassing stories concerning his popularity.
On the show, Yesung opened up about how people tend to not recognize him and shared, “One day, my name and photo were widely posted on a newspaper. With a joyful heart, I told my father. But the newspaper read, ‘Super Junior’s Chinese member Yesung who is performing in South Korea’,” revealing how writers mistakenly confused his nationality.
He also shared an embarrassing moment which had occurred when his group moved into a new apartment, “With a joyful heart, I rode the elevator up and down. A kid said to me, ‘You know what? I heard Super Junior lives here’,” and revealed his opinions about his level of popularity.
To lighten up the atmosphere, Ji Sang Ryul, also a guest on the show teased Yesung by naming all the members of Super Junior and then asked him, “But what is your name?”
I’m sure that you as a fellow K-poper recognize Yesung, right?
