The new law passed by the ‘Culture and Arts Industry‘ promotes prohibiting celebrities under the age of 15 to work after 10pm.
The new restricted schedule introduces a maximum of 35 work hours a week, as well as bans promotions for junior members between 10pm and 6am, to encourage a healthy lifestyle for the minors aiming towards fame.
However, there is a loophole as the underage idols can still promote at those times if they have parental permission. This side exception has been scrutinized by many, as they argue that if parents wish for their children to succeed, they would certainly accept the harsh work hours, leaving the new law completely void.
What do you think of this new law?
