On August 12th, tvN announced, “We chose Hong Eun Hee as a new MC for ‘Taxi.’ Due to her active involvement in various areas including acting and emceeing various TV and radio programs, Hong Eun Hee has many excellent qualities necessary to make a good MC for this show. We expect that she will also be able to add a feminine touch to ‘Taxi.’”
Park Sung Jae commented further, “We thought that with her experience as a wife and a mother, she would be able to add warmth to the show. She is also not afraid to ask direct questions to any guests. We hope that with Kim Gura, she will make a great addition.”
Also, Hong Eun Hee shared her view. “Since the beginning, I have enjoyed this show, so I am happy to become a MC for ‘Taxi.’ It will be challenging since the format of this talk show is very different from what I am used to, but I am sure I will greatly enjoy it. I hope to be a good MC following the departure of Jun Hyun Moo.”
August 23rd will be Hong Eun Hee’s first time hosting on the show.
