We already said it, but I’m going to say it once again! Thank you 2015!
We’ve been witnessing an amazing start to the new year in K-Pop since January, and the latest was release of Niel‘s music video for his title song “Lovekiller,” feat DOK2 from his debut mini album “ONiely.”
Lets check it out first:
Music video is brilliant and I love the storyline of it. First we see Niel entering in some warehouse while it is raining outside, and he is calling his girlfriend on the phone. He is calling her several times, but she is not answering. This is really not a love song, but the title “Lovekiller” is certainly fitting. It expresses the feeling of falling for someone dangerous, and wanting to win them over anyway. The scenes from the past and present are so different, and it creates an interesting feel.
The thing that made me laugh is when they were eating dinner the girl got a phone call from TeenTop‘s member L.Joe.
Niel is rocking this style and it suits him so well. He already said that Michael Jackson is his role model in music, and we can totally see it here, the song feel and choreography are surely inspired by him.
He is looking so sexy and manly, a really new side of Niel that he was hiding for so long.
The song itself is catchy with slow beat and a mellow melody alongside it.
What do you think about music video? Do you like it? Please tell us all about it!
