Yes, that is right! As IZ*ONE becomes busy with their preparation for their October debut, IZ*ONE‘s Japanese members will also be taking a break from their AKB48 activities.
In particular, on September 24th, Off The Record Entertainment revealed that “Miyawaki Sakura, Yabuki Nako and Honda Hitomi will be taking an AKB48 hiatus for two years and six months. This will be until April 2021. They will be fully focused on their activities with IZ*ONE. They all are working hard to wrap up the preparations for their official debut. So, all the members are giving their all.”
So, their final activity with AKB48 will be their participation in AKB48‘s upcoming 54th single, ‘No Way Man‘. Sakura will be the centre for the track with Nako and Hitomi beside her. They will only be recording the track and thus no promotions will be made for this track. This track will be released on November 28th.
