WM Entertainment’s rookie girl group, Oh My Girl, landed in Los Angeles to shoot their new photo jacket when they got detained at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) for over seven hours due to customs issues.
The photo shoot was scheduled to coincide with their new album. While trying to pass through airport immigration on December 9, issues arose during customs inspection and they had been detained from entering the country for more than seven hours, according to what was reported to a media outlet on December 10.
The agency that is behind Oh My Girl stated that the amount of items, clothes, and goods needed for the photoshoot were the issue at hand during the inspection with customs, and everything was currently being sorted out.
Oh My Girl is an eight member group consisting of HyoJung, JinE, Mimi, YooA, Seung Hee, Jiho, Binnie, and Arin. They were introduced as B1A4’s ‘little sister’ group, and already have two mini albums under their belt this year with ‘Oh My Girl’ as their debut, and ‘Closer’ for their most recent comeback back in December.
Hopefully everything has been sorted, and yet, I am excited to know a new album is in the near future. What are your thoughts on the detainment? Let us know.
