On the June 24h episode of “Show Me The Money 5,’ which featured diss battles and the start of the performance competitions. For the performance competitions, each team had to prepare a solo and team performance. The first battle was between Team AOMG (Gray & Simon Dominic) and Team Gil & Mad Clown.

Team AOMG considered their options between G2 and ONE and appallingly they ended up choosing ONE. The track that they sung for their performance battle was called “Comfortable.” Gray, ONE, and Simon Dominic made many of those in the audience swoon over their visuals, alluring vocals and charismatic rap. On the stage, ONE showed a solid and pleasant performance, confirming his improvement and advancing progress as a rapper on the show.
Simon Dominic says, “I was proud; that was one of ONE‘s best rap and performances throughout the show. I hope to continue to help and mentor him.”
ONE made his farewell and said, “The experience has always been a fun one. I apologize to G2 and the producers. I want to express my appreciation to everyone. ‘Show Me The Money‘ has taught me to put myself out there on the stage and be comfortable with myself. I am also thankful to be able to get to know many talented rappers. I made many mistakes and became a major talk among netizens, but I hope to come back on a different stage as a better rapper.”

Previously, Team Gil & Mad Clown failed at the undertaking at the song “Going Home“; but for the start of the performance competitions, the producers decided to give the song another shot. Producers Gil and Mad Clown chose #GUN over Donutman to perform the song with them. #GUN inspired the audience with his authentic and earnest lyrics. Mad Clown‘s dynamic rapping and Gummy‘s vocals made the performance stood out more.

The first round of performance competitions come to an end where it was a unforeseen win for Team Gil & Mad Clown. Gil says, “I was not expecting this at all, #GUN did exceptionally well today.” #GUN says, “I was surprised, I am able to make it to the top six because of my mother’s prayers.”
The songs “Comfortable” and “Going Home,” which were performed on this week’s episode, have topped numerous music charts, placing the show at the top for both television broadcast ratings and music charts.
