It positively came as a bolt from the blue to fans when PENTAGON‘s rapper Yuto dropped a new track ‘Trust ME‘ along with a music video earlier today. The track also features Yuto‘s fellow rappers in PENTAGON, E’dawn and Wooseok.
Check out Yuto’s ‘Trust ME’ below!
The track was composed by Yuto, Wooseok and E’dawn and arranged by the latter. The trio also wrote the trilingual lyrics themselves. Yuto, who is Japanese, wrote his parts in his mother tongue so most of the lyrics consists of Japanese. The other parts of the song are in Korean and English.
Note: PENTAGON is a self-producing group and members contribute greatly to writing songs for their own albums. The leader Hui has co-composed Wanna One‘s hit songs ‘NEVER’ and ‘Energetic‘ while he, E’dawn and Wooseok wrote the lyrics.
In the video, it can be seen that PENTAGON member Kino helped them with recording the vocals in what seems like a hotel room. The fact that they are making music on the go shows just how hard-working and passionate the PENTAGON members are.
The music video contains shots of PENTAGON performing in their concert and interacting with their fans. The boys are indeed born performers and look the most charming on stage. PENTAGON is going to have a comeback in April and we cannot wait to hear their new self-composed tracks!
