Recently, Antenna Music, label for the K-rock band Peppertones, announced the release of the group’s fifth studio album, 하이파이브(HIGH-FIVE)! The release includes a total of 14 tracks, of which “Fast” was chosen to be their comeback song.
Like all the tracks on the album, “Fast” tells a tale of chasing your dreams. The music video is shot in a vintage manner while performing in a music studio. The duo, which comprises of Jae-Pyung Shin (aka Sayo) and Jang-Won Lee (aka Noshel), gave a dynamic performance. Their refreshing harmonies are showcased while strumming their guitars, and the rhythm of the song would remind you of American 90’s bands like The RainCoats, Bikini Kill, and early No Doubt. It’s a perfect mixture of rock and indie, establishing the duo’s unique sound.
