Phonebooth is back with a new song and music video titled “Flowers On The Wave,” which is a beautiful and potent tribute to the those lost during the Sewol ferry disaster.
What perhaps makes this song even more heartfelt is a collaborative effort between the band and their fans who helped to write the lyrics to the song itself.
The music video is simple, but is perfect as it highlights what is really the importance of the song itself. That is remembering those who lost their lives, those who grieve, and the lyrics to the song itself.
The group is disturbed as a “Indie punk – rock ” band, but in reality this group is able to fuse together different styles of music over a solid rock base. If you have not heard of the group before then you are missing out. I highly suggest that you take the time to go back and look at listen to their previous musical catalog.
