Recently we interviewed the rookie girl group PIXY in November. Since then, the group released a special single, ‘Call Me’ with a strikingly cuter but chill concept compared to their usual darker signature sound. On December 14th, the sextet dropped a performance video for the track. Additionally, on the 22nd, they released their official dance practice for the track. Beginning promotions on music shows, it comes after their October 2nd mini album, ‘Temptation’. Selling over 6,000 copies, the group’s sales grew almost x6 since their May EP, ‘Bravery’, thus demonstrating their growing popularity.
The group evenly gave us a shoutout showing the point choreography for their new track. We wish the best for the girls!
‘Call Me’ requests their crush to call the members as they eagerly wait and gush over. The smooth and bubbly synths create a sugary rush. It’s not completely down in cute category though. It’s relatively stable and down tempo makes a pleasant listen to not feeling overwhelming and balances the song’s vibe to a neutral generally relaxing tune.
