As many predicted would happen, the K-Pop groups that were to have comebacks in April are now rushing to squeeze them in May, and it is likely to be a battle for the top of the charts.
First, we have several veteran performers returning to the scene, as Wheesung, g.o.d, and Fly to the Sky have all announced May comeback dates. Each of these groups debuted 10 years ago or more, and are likely to generate alot of fan interest as they have been out of the scene for awhile. Fly to the Sky and g.o.d are both celebrating 15 year anniversaries this year, and all three are expected to be performing alot of concerts and promoting on shows.
Then of course, we have the younger generation of artists gearing up for comebacks as well. EXO has already begun theirs, with Baek Ji Young and Secret‘s Hyosung not far behind. Baek Ji Young’s single is to be releases on the 7th, and Hyosung’s first solo album, “Top Secret,” will be releases on the 12th. G.NA and T-ARA‘s Jiyeon also have plans in the works for May releases.
May is looking to be an exciting month for K-Pop fans, so join us as we await more details and see who comes out on top!
