On March 15th, later than expected, a press conference for “MBLAQ: FIRST CONTACT” event in the Philippines has been held. However, due to the delay, members of MBLAQ and Two X were not able to join. Nevertheless, the producers, K &P Partners Production and representatives from Manila Broadcasting Company were there to answer inquiries from the press.
Those who attended the presscon could also talk to a rookie boy group, Excite, through Skype.
The boys were more than accommodating in answering questions. It was revealed that one of the members lived in the Philippines for a year and a half. However, he was too shy to speak Tagalog.
A news reporter from a local television asked what kind of performance can fans expect to see on March 31st. The boys answered that they will present a show that will be more interactive with their fans. They also emphasized that they want to be closer to their fans and they want to be recognized as a friendly boy group.
The interview was cut short because they had to perform on “Music Bank”.
Meanwhile, the producers, headed by Yoon Ki-Woong said that they are both excited and nervous for this concert because aside from limited time to promote it, it’s also their first time to venture into concert production here in the Philippines.
The event “MBLAQ: FIRST CONTACT”, previously titled “Seoul Invasion”, will be held on March 31st at Aliw Theater and groups Two X and Excite will be performing together with MBLAQ.
