Rookie group PRISTIN said that they look up to SNSD and TWICE as their role models. SNSD made their debut in 2007 and has had long-standing success as being one of the top girl groups. Currently, TWICE is one of the top groups in the K-pop scene. After debuting in 2015, they have gained popularity with their catchy tunes.
PRISTIN member Rena said that it’s so hard to just choose one role model. Girls’ Generation has a lot of members like they do, so there’s a lot to learn from them through their performance choreography and formations. Rena also said that on stage TWICE has a refreshing charm that they would like to have while they are on stage.
PRISTIN is a ten-membered girl group that debuted this year. They are under Pledis Entertainment and were originally called Pledis Girlz before their debut. Watch their debut song ‘Wee Woo‘ below!
Best wishes to PRISTIN on their new career as idols!
