Heo Chanmi will be debuting in her third group!
Chanmi has been confirmed as a member of upcoming four-piece group High Color!
Chanmi previously trained under SM Entertainment, but missed out on becoming a member of Girls’ Generation due to her young age. She then moved to Core Contents Media, making her first debut as the main vocal of Co-Ed School. Co-Ed School was then split into all-female and all-male sub-units, seeing Chanmi re-debut as a member of F-ve Dolls in 2011. Chanmi left the group in 2012 with the aim of becoming a solo artist. 2016 saw Chanmi take part in the inaugural season of Produce 101 but she ultimately fell short of making the debut group, ending the show in 26th place.
High Color on ‘Mix Nine‘
It has been revealed that Chanmi will be making another debut, this time as a member of High Color! The members of High Color will be appearing on the audition show ‘Mix Nine‘ prior to debut. The group, which will also feature NuA, Suha, and Darin, are using ‘Mix Nine‘ as an opportunity to show the public their unique charms and musical talent before making their official debut. NuA‘s real name is Kim Min Kyung, whilst Suha and Darin were born as Choi Soo Jung and Baek Da Ae respectively. Even before the group’s debut, High Color is being touted as a group that combines high-end vocals with impressive performance skills.
The High Color members are currently preparing to make their debut. Are you looking forward to seeing what this group will sound like?
