YG rapper PSY announced on MBC‘s FM4U‘s Bae Chul Soo’s Music Camp that he would be realizing a lifelong dream of his to participate in the upcoming album of the lengendary band, Queen‘s Brian May.
During the broadcast, PSY said that he had been influenced by Queen, and that, “This is the first time I′m saying this, but guitarist Brian May will be releasing a remake album and he asked me to participate in the remake of a song.” He added, “I cried so hard at the thought that such things are possible. I realized that dreams can come true.”
PSY stated that he is a huge fan of Queen in many interviews, and played Queen’s, “Love of My Life” when Bae Chul Soo asked him to play a song.
On another note, he voiced his opinion on his most recent single, “Gentleman“, and about it topping Billboard. He said that, “I′m actually a bit expectant because the YouTube views are so high. I′m working hard on promoting because the song has slipped on the iTunes charts.”
“Gentleman” had debuted at #12 on Billboard′s Hot 100, and the music video for the single has shot past 200 million views 9 days after it’s release.
On April 25th, PSY plans on leaving to promote his single overseas.
