Fellow labelmate PSY is reaching out to fans to help promote 2NE1‘s leader CL‘s solo debut song, “나쁜 기집애 (The Baddest Female).”
On May 29th, PSY wrote on his Twitter, “If ya wanna see the BADDEST Asian Girl, Check #CL Out CL – 나쁜 기집애 (THE BADDEST FEMALE) M/V,” adding a link to CL’s music video on YouTube.
His tweet caught the eyes of fans, and word quickly spread about the video. Thanks to his help the video received 1.4 million views as of 4:40 pm that day.
The song was released May 28th at the same time as the music video. The song shot up to #1 in 9 of the major Korean music websites in 3 hours alone!
The day it was released, “나쁜 기집애 (The Baddest Female)” ranked in the 70’s on the American iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap category, and shot up to 33 at 10:10 a.m.
