PSY’s “Gangnam Style” for the ‘Best Song’ in Kid’s Choice Awards

It’s already year 2013 and yet PSY’s popular hit song “Gangnam Style” is still trending!

The popular song was nominated by the 26^th Kid’s Choice Awards in the U.S. “Gangnam Style” is nominated for the category of “Favorite Song.” Other nominated songs are Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”, Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” and One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful”.

The event is run by the U.S. TV channel Nickelodeon where children chose the top stars of specified categories.

The host of the event will be Josh Duhamel. Other nominees for other categories include some famous U.S. celebrities such as Johnny Depp, Kristen Stewart, Adele and Justin Bieber.

The “2013 Kid’s Choice Awards” will open up on April 3^rd. The voting is currently going on the U.S. website. The Nickelodeon Korean website will start the voting on February 28^th.
