On May 12th, producer Raiden and EXO‘s Chanyeol released the MV for their collaboration single, ‘Yours’, featuring Lee Hi and Changmo. Check it out below!
RAIDEN AND CHANYEOL ‘YOURS’ MV:
Lyrically, the song describes the feelings after break up, being locked up in darkness. However, the lover wishes to wipe the tears of the other, as they again fall for each other, wanting to “be yours”.
The song itself is a mid-tempo pop track with a chill electronic and guitar led melody. The vocals from Chanyeol and Lee Hi, although having unique tones, harmonise beautifully in their sections. Changmo‘s rap then adds a contrast to the track, giving the song variability in the track to keep the listener’s attention.
For the MV, there are multiple solid colour or two-coloured sets for both Chanyeol and Raiden in their solo scenes. Additionally, there are cool vertical partial green screen LED set which looks simplistic and clean to give nice visual effect, whilst not taking away from the uniqueness in the sound of the song.
