On December 18th, YouTube released a year-end video mashup featuring PSY‘s ‘Gangnam Style‘.
The video, entitled ‘Rewind YouTube Style 2012′, is a reminder of the most ‘culturally defining moments of 2012‘ and many YouTube stars, such as Ryan Higa, Chester See, Legion of Honour and Jenna Marbles, took part in this project. In the video, ‘Gangnam Style’ was mixed with Carly Rae Jepsen‘s ‘Call Me Maybe‘.
YouTube has also changed its logo to a cartoon figure of PSY, to commemorate the artist’s achievement of releasing the most watched video on YouTube of all times.
