Recording Industry Association of Japan announced that Girls’ Generation’s 2nd Japanese album as platinum.
Girls’ Generation has once again proved their popularity in Japan as on December 10th, RIAJ officially announced “Girls’ Generation II ~Girls & Peace~” was certified ‘platinum’ in Japan. The albums draws over 250,000 albums and after its release, it ranked third Oricon’s Weekly Album Chart and it continues to be in the top ten on Oricon’s Daily Album Chart .
Following their Japanese promotions, Girls’ Generation’s Second Arena Tour in Japan will kick off this February 2013.
