It is really sad day for all the fans of these amazing girls. It has been announced that the rookie group “Bob Girls” are disbanding and the girls terminated the contract with their agency, Chrome Entertainment.
Bob Girls are widely known as Crayon Pop‘s sister group.
To make thing worse, one of the members, Jina, was diagnosed with encephalitis, the illness is not terminal, but requires long and exhausting treatment.
Although she did not detect any symptoms at the time of the debut, near the end of 2014, her condition started to deteriorate. After a close examination at the hospital, she was diagnosed with encephalitis and now must undergo treatment.
The agency through outlets released official statement;
“Due to Jina’s battle with encephalitis, Bob Girls decided to halt their activities, and their contracts with the agency have been dissolved.We learned about Jina’s health issue around December. After being tested at the hospital, we learned that she had developed encephalitis. It’s not severe, but it is something that does take consistent care and treatment. Although it’s fine when leading a normal daily life, the doctor’s opinion was that it might be difficult the carry on the life of a singer. The other members also felt bad about continuing promotions as Bob Girls while Jina is unwell. The contracts have been terminated, and we made this decision in hopes that these friends will be able to continue on celebrity activities soon under a better company.”
Bob Girls debuted last year with the song “No Way”
I am really sad to hear the news because the girls are so talented, I hope in the future they will comeback, untill then we wish Jina speedy recovery!
