Ryu Hyun Kyung Wanted to Be a Rapper

On April 23rd, actress Ryu Hyun Kyung recently appeared on SBS‘s “Hwashin” and revealed her hidden talents.

During the show, she confessed that she almost became a rapper and joined YG Entertainment when she was younger.

Ryu Hyung Kyung said that, “My childhood dream was to be a rapper and had the thought that I needed to debut as a rapper before I turned thirty. One day, I already made my debut when I attended Jinusean’s fansigning event and was singing along to the group’s songs when one of the YG managers asked me, ‘Have you ever thought about being a singer?’ At the time, I said, ‘I’m an actress’ and turned down the offer. I regret it.”

Later on in the episode, she paired up with fellow actor Kim In Kwon and showed off her rap and dance skills.
