The 90’s K-pop sensation S.E.S. are making their comeback for their 20th anniversary in 2017! SM Entertainment confirmed that the girls will be returning to the stage to do a concert for their fans and will also release a new album.
S.E.S. members Bada, Eugene, and Shoo were under the label SM entertainment from 1997 to 2002. The girls went their separates ways with Eugene getting into acting and recently giving birth to her daughter, Lo Ree, with actor Ki Tae-Youg. Shoo followed shortly after by getting Married and having three children with basketball player Hyo Sung.
Lead singer Bada also confirmed the reunion on her Instagram page by stating:
“Hello ~ !!! “Friend” your We did a lot of waiting for SES? ^^ We also missed a lot of you ~ ???????????? S.E.S. Eugene Sue sea !!! I think this is really a long time giving greetings. We’re now gathered together members – I think we better be telling you this directly places the article ^ ___ ^ If S.E.S. next year’s 20th anniversary of his debut ~! Coming soon to see greet the 20th anniversary of creating a meaningful time together with our eternal “Friends” ~ ^^ In fact, but one that we are always ready euron mind. . . We are excited to see so many 90’s Korean groups coming back to the stage as seen with the success of first generation idol groups like Shinwa, Sechs Skies and G.O.D. Although the girls are only doing a special concert for their fans for their 20th Anniversary, it is still exciting news for those who grew up listening to their hit “I’m your Girl“.
