GOT7‘s Jackson Wang has been featured on Sammi Cheng‘s new song ‘Creo en Mi‘. Sammi Cheng is known as a Cantopop legend from Hong Kong as she has received multiple awards in her career. She has produced over 80 studio albums, and many people call her the queen of Cantopop. Jackson, who also hails from Hong Kong, does not actually appear in the MV for their collaboration, but he sings and raps alongside Sammi. He has also written the lyrics himself.
Jackson is currently active as a part of GOT7. They are currently on their ‘Eyes On You 2018 World Tour‘. They will be heading to Hong Kong in two days. Furthermore, GOT7 has just finished filming the next MV for their upcoming title track, and the group are expected to be making their comeback in September.

This collaboration is a Cantonese cover of ‘Creo en Mi‘, originally sung by Natalie Jimenez. ‘Creo en Mi’ translates to “I believe in myself.” The MV set looks like it has high production value as it literally looks like a movie set. It depicts scenes of people suffering in the midst of chaos. The lyrics and MV show that even if you are suffering, you still have to believe in yourself and have hope. It is overall a very emotional but meaningful song.
