Second Season of “Reply 1997” to Air in September

After revealing that second season of a very popular drama “Reply 1997” will be set in 1994, it has been now reported that the drama will air in September this year.

tvN‘s representative announced that the synopsis for the drama has not be written yet, but the story will focus around 1994, when the popularity of basketball stars were the equivalent of idol groups.

However, fans can expect that Seo Taiji and other icons of the early 90s may take prominence as well.

The second season will be directed by Woo Ji Won and written by Lee Woo Jung who have worked together for “Reply 1997” as well.

The actors for the second season has not been chosen yet.
