On September 22nd, Secret‘s Jieun released the music video teaser for her upcoming solo comeback for “Don’t Look At Me“. The lyrics of the song are said to deal with darker subjects such as homosexuality, age gap and interracial relationships, ones that are pretty much unheard of in the K-Pop industry. The team behind the song, Star Track, is the same producers of Secret’s “Madonna“, “Starlight Moonlight“, and “I Do I Do” along with TS Entertainment label mate B.A.P‘s “1004” (Angel) and “One Shot“.
The teaser itself portrays a dark image to match these lyrics. We can see Jieun being dragged and chained, then later being what looks to be auctioned off to a crowd of people wearing masquerade masks. This 26 second video paints a twisted picture and we are left to wonder what else will take place in the full music video.
The song and full music video will be released on the 24th.
